The Hartford Yard Goats are back on the field, and fans can enjoy a game in a stadium that was recently voted the 2021 “Best Double-A Ballpark in America.”

Competing in a bracket-style tournament for Ballparkdigest.com, Dunkin’ Donuts Park came into the tournament seeded in the number three spot by the experts at Ballpark Digest. However, support from the fans was strong, and the Goats won the entire competition to be crowned the new champions.

After hearing a lot of “no” about what we could do during the pandemic lockdown, Connecticut is now saying yes with a new summer marketing campaign that promotes safe travel and tourism in the state.

According to Gov. Ned Lamont, the campaign’s theme, “Say Yes to Connecticut,” was born out of the Office of Tourism’s research that shows a growing sense of optimism among Northeast consumers amid the Covid-19 vaccine rollout and pent-up demand for travel.

Weezie Nuara Talks Millstone Power Station and NEWIEE

Millstone Power Station, which is owned by Dominion Energy, is producing an abundance of carbon-free electricity for the state. It also serves as a tremendous jobs and economic driver for the region.

Congratulations to Our Intern, Skye Trotter

College can be stressful enough, but add a pandemic in the mix, and it was a true endeavor for students this last year.

But Skye Trotter, our MCG intern this semester from the University of Hartford, never let the circumstances slow her down. After graduating this month, she’ll be working as a Digital Marketing Associate for a corporate law firm, Frost Law, located in Annapolis, Maryland.
