An Election With Global PR Consequences

Every American election has international ramifications, but this year’s is especially important because the differences between the two candidates on foreign affairs is dramatic.

More than most elections, this year’s presidential race will have a major impact on the country’s international brand.

In a nation in which “We the People…” are in charge; who we choose as president sends a clear message to the rest of the world what our values are as American citizens.

As of this writing, less than a week to go before the vote, one public relations message will be sent if we hire a candidate who has consistently campaigned against immigrants since he first stepped on the political stage and a wholly different message will be sent if we elect the first woman president who happens to be of Jamaican and Indian heritage.

Bottom Line: The world is watching and we are about the establish our brand for at least the next four years.
