We at McDowell Communications Group are excited to announce that Sabrina Rivera will join the firm as Director of Digital Media.
Sabrina comes to MCG after overseeing digital and social media for Connecticut’s Department of Public Health during its nationally-acclaimed COVID-19 vaccine rollout. At MCG, Rivera will oversee social media for clients, develop digital content, and manage the firm’s online presence across multiple platforms.
“We collaborated with Sabrina while working together on the state’s vaccine communications effort,” said Duby McDowell, Founder and President of McDowell Communications Group. “We were deeply impressed with her capabilities and strategic thinking. We know our clients will benefit from her presence at the firm.”
“I’m excited to join McDowell Communicaitons Group after working together over the past year. The firm is at the center of so many interesting issues in Connecticut, and I’m eager to help expand its digital reach,” Rivera said.
Prior to working for the Department of Public Health, Rivera served as the communications and media specialist for a non-profit promoting a municipal downtown. A talented videographer, she has captured the stories of a number of clients, including politicians and educational institutions.
Sabrina is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Hartford, where she earned her Masters in Communications.
