McDowell Jewett’s work with the CT Coalition Against Domestic Violence was highlighted at the advocacy group’s annual breakfast. MJC was presented with the Lawrence & Shirley Bostrom Pillars of Change Award for the awareness campaigns the firm created and distributed for the CCADV. MJC has led several of CCADV’s public awareness efforts, including two statewide campaigns -- one in English and one in Spanish -- raising awareness about domestic violence hotlines. MJC developed and implemented strong awareness campaigns over multiple platforms that increased victim and community knowledge of the help available from CCADV’s 18 member organizations. McDowell Jewett provided these services either pro- or low-bono.
