The Los Angeles Rams weren’t the only winner Sunday — Super Bowl advertising scored once again.
NBC sold out all its inventory for the biggest game of the year. This includes every in-game unit available across NBC, Telemundo, and all digital platforms. Spending this year also reached records, with some spots commanding as much as $7 million.
Celebrities, nostalgia, humor, and storytelling defined most of the ads. While the usual suspects bought spots, such as Budweiser, Cheetos, Taco Bell, and General Motors, there were also some newcomers this year. Crypocurriences and health and wellness companies bought prime time slots. It was also the year for electric vehicles, as there were several commercials dedicated to the market.
