Kearns Goodwin at Twain House

Governor Ned Lamont and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin at the Mark Twain House.

In an event that may have been historic in itself, Governor Ned Lamont served as host last month to historian Doris Kearns Goodwin in an event at the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford.

As far as we know, a Connecticut governor has never played such a role with a leading author.

Kearns Goodwin was promoting her latest book, An Unfinished Love Story: A Personal History of the 1960s.

The McDowell Communications Group was honored to play a role in bringing the evening together.
