MJC's Duby McDowell introduced award-winning actress Christine Baranski at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center's 10th-anniversary gala. Baranski was there to accept the Spirit of Katharine Hepburn Award. In her introduction speech, McDowell pointed out the similarities between Baranski and Hepburn and lauded Baranski's successful acting career. McDowell also shared some personal stories involving Baranski's family. Afterward, Baranski shared that she "didn’t expect such a personal and beautiful tribute.”
