CCADV Launches New Campaign

The statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey are alarming stating that "1 in 4 women have experienced severe physical violence by an intimate partner at some point in their life." What's more, educating children, specifically young men, about domestic violence as a form of early intervention can help pave the way for positive life choices.

Working with the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, McDowell Jewett recently helped create and launch the "I Choose" campaign. It stems from the idea that violence is a choice - and with the right mentors and the right tools, boys can choose to rise above domestic violence.  “I Choose respect;” “I Choose not to normalize violence towards women;” “I Choose to take a stand against domestic violence.”
