Connecticut, the opioid crisis, and moving forward: MJC's Dean Pagani making news

The opioid crisis is rampant. According to the state's medical examiner,  "917 people in Connecticut died of accidental drug overdoses" in 2016. This, "compared to 87 homicides, 387 suicides and 319 motor vehicle accidents," is a harsh and disturbing reality check for this worsening epidemic. Dean Pagani, VP at McDowell Jewett Communications, lends insight in today's Hartford Courant about companies moving forward amid this devastating crisis.
